WHEEL ALIGNMENT

Wheel alignment is a standard part of vehicle maintenance and consists of adjusting the angles of the front wheels so that they are set to the specification laid out by car manufacturers. The purpose of these adjustments is to ensure that vehicle travel is straight and true when driving along a straight and level road, and to maximise tyre life.

Improper alignment is a major cause of premature tyre wear. Over the years, a properly aligned vehicle can add thousands of miles to the tyre life. Wheel alignment is often confused with wheel balancing. Other than the fact that both affect ride and handling, both have nothing to do with each other. If you are unsure if you need you wheels balanced or aligned, do not hesitate to contact us for free advice.
